Fraises
I just bought a flat of strawberries.
A whole flat.
I live alone.
Strawberries will be out of season next week.
I plan on making strawberry sorbet and perhaps ice cream.
Strawberry Jam.
I'm going looking for recipes.

I was going to suggest strawberries with black pepper - but after browsing a little further I see you've already been there (a good place to go!).
Epicurious has an amazing recipe for strawberry tiramisu... and a great strawberry jam will win any man's heart (works for me).
